Birmingham team advise insurance group on sixth acquisition

Birmingham-based Springboard Corporate Finance has supported longstanding client Jensten Group, a broking and insurance group, on its sixth acquisition.

The company has bought Origin UW, which specialises in writing business for clients with a turnover of up to £50m.

The acquisition sees Livingbridge-backed Jensten continue its strategy of acquiring businesses with significant growth potential.

Jensten’s Wholesale MD, Simon Taylor said: “From the outset we knew Origin UW would be a great strategic and cultural fit for Jensten’s existing wholesale proposition. Dawn has built a successful, specialist MGA with a great reputation in the market. This is a fantastic addition to the Group and will be of great benefit to our partner brokers and their clients.”

Jensten was advised by Springboard partners Simon Ward and James Bailey.
