Start-up recruitment agency secures funding for IT investment

A start-up recruitment agency has secured £10,000 through the Business Growth Programme.

Telford-based Hariley Solutions has used the additional cash injection to support a series of capital expenditure IT investments for the business, including new laptops and desks.

The £10,000 was the maximum amount that Hariley could apply for through the Business Growth Programme (BGP) and has provided a financial boost to support the company’s new IT infrastructure which has cost £18,000 in total.

BGP is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and supports small to medium enterprises (SMEs) in the Marches Local Enterprise Partnership, designed to strengthen supply chains, stimulate innovation and help businesses grow.

Telford & Wrekin Council’s Enterprise Telford team guided Hariley through the application process which helped them to secure the funding.

Hariley Solutions was founded by directors Ryan Wheeler, Stuart Mackintosh and Jay Plant to help firms in the industrial and transport sectors find the best staff.

Hariley has also received £100,000 from the Midlands Engine Investment Fund (MEIF) to further its expansion following a successful application managed by BCRS Business Loans.

The funding will also be used to invest in staffing, with two jobs created and a further six jobs protected.
