Communications agency grows team on back of clutch of client wins

Birmingham-based creative communications agency Barques has secured five new client wins and announced the growth of its team.
The company, which is based on Ludgate Hill, has been appointed to deliver creative, digital and communications services for emergency evacuation specialist Evac+Chair International, multi-disciplined consultancy The Construction Consultants (TCC), Towcester Equine Vets, engineering firm Savery Hydraulics and Birmingham Children’s Trust.
The creative communications agency is also working on additional projects with existing clients including Birmingham City Council, University of Birmingham, Hortons’ Estate and The King Edward VI Foundation, Birmingham.
Managing director of Barques, Jilly Cosgrove, said that the agency had made four key internal appointments to support the growing client demand for its services.
Rehan Mohammad has been hired as senior PHP developer, Jake James has been appointed SEO manager, Ethan Gardiner joins as account manager and Steven Clarke has taken on a new role as junior developer. The new hires follow the recent appointment of Anthony Bisseker as relationship director.
