Arden Cross developer Muse has established a business in Birmingham city centre, as part of its expansion strategy and commitment to the region.

Appointed as the regeneration partner for the £3.2bn development, Arden Cross will include 6m sq ft of commercial space, up to 3,000 homes, vast areas of public space, and key transport infrastructure and will support up to 27,000 jobs.

The Muse team in the Midlands will be spearheaded by Birmingham-born development director, Maggie Grogan, who will work alongside a wider team of development, projects and central support professionals.

Muse managing director, Kate Bowyer, said on the expansion: “Expansion into one of the UK’s key growth and economic hubs in the Midlands, has long been part of our strategy. There are a wide range of major regeneration opportunities across the Midlands that will connect people and place to the opportunities that regeneration invariably brings.

“Delivering place-changing regeneration through our regional businesses, combines local knowledge with the resources and capabilities of a national player. This move into the Midlands will enable us to provide just that within towns and cities across this burgeoning region, to create brighter futures for all.”

Development director, Maggie Grogan, added: “Being from the Midlands, I’m excited to launch our latest regional business and set to work creating opportunities for growth, investment and prosperity with our partners.

“Our work at Arden Cross is just the start of our expansion and it’s a perfect example of the scale and types of place-changing regeneration we can deliver for communities right across the Midlands.”

Muse is part of Morgan Sindall Group.
