Former Merry Hill general manager joins the Bullring
The Bullring and Grand Central has welcomed Dan Murphy as a new general manager.
Bringing more than 15 years of experience in senior retail management, Murphy has held high profile General Manager roles at a number of West Midlands retail destinations including Merry Hill.
Murphy said: “I’m excited to be joining the team at Bullring & Grand Central. Over the years I’ve watched as the destination has become not only a landmark for Birmingham and the centre for local communities but centre stage for world events such as the Commonwealth Games.
“Next year, we’ll celebrate our 20th anniversary, so I’m looking forward to working with the team to create new experiences that will engage and excite our customers in ways they’ve never seen before. 2022 was just a flavour of what’s to come.”
New concepts set to open next year include TOCA Social, a new grocery-led M&S, Tessuti and the Midlands largest ever JD Sports.
Bullring & Grand Central, has recently announced that a 28,000 sq ft Lane7 will open in summer 2023.
