Jewellery Quarter letting sealed by fast-growing business

A fast-growing Birmingham business has signed up to one of the largest lettings seen in the Jewellery Quarter in the past 12 months.

Hoodrich, founded by Erdington entrepreneur Jay Williams, has taken 6,355 sq ft, the entire first floor of The Atrium in Frederick Street.

Ed Siddall-Jones, managing director of Siddall Jones, said: “The Atrium has been lovingly restored to provide first class headquarter facilities, perfect for Hoodrich.

“We understood the need for the business to have a modern office building close to the city centre and identified the property immediately as being suitable for their requirement.

“It has a stunning glass atrium providing natural light and is a real addition to the space available in the Jewellery Quarter.”

Hoodrich was launched in 2014 when Williams began selling his T-shirts from the boot of his car before signing a deal with retailer Footasylum.

Hoodrich has taken the space on a five year term at an annual rental of £98,193.

The deal means that the lower ground floor, ground floor and first floor are now fully let with only the 5,071 sq ft second floor remaining.
