Prime Worcester business park hits the market

Worcestershire Parkway Business Park, Worcester’s first business park for over 20 years, has now been brought to market.

The 10-acre development next to Worcestershire Parkway railway station will consist of Grade A open plan office buildings to let that can accommodate up to 1,500 staff.

Planning permission has already been secured for the first three storey 36,000 sq ft building and floors from 11,500 sq ft are available. Plans are also in place for a further 130,000 sq ft of office space and a proposed 1,500-space, multi storey car park.

Occupiers will benefit from air conditioned space, with open floor plates, car and bicycle parking, electric vehicle charging alongside a landscaped setting.

The business park is part of a sustainable new town at Worcestershire Parkway station proposed in the South Worcestershire Development Plan. Eventually it will include thousands of new homes and schools, heath facilities, shops, employment space, sports facilities, and green areas.

KWB Office Agency is jointly marketing the new development with JLL on behalf of developer Worcester Parkway Business Park.

Malcolm Jones, head of KWB Office agency, said: “Worcestershire Parkway Business Park is set to be one of the county’s best office locations due to its superb location close to the railway station and the M5 motorway.

“It will make an ideal base for high profile businesses needing flexible, ESG-friendly space, in a new business park environment.”

Stennard Harrison, managing director of Worcester Parkway Business Park, added: “I’m pleased to have seen the marketing boards go up on site recently and look forward to welcoming our first occupiers.

“With amenities and transport options on the doorstep, Worcestershire Parkway Business Park offers firms an attractive and sustainable working environment which are increasingly important for attracting and retaining the best staff.”
