‘Booze and ball games’ venue opens in Birmingham

Roxy Leisure has opened their second location in Birmingham at the former Kong site in Victoria Square.

The new Roxy Ball Room venue continues to follow its signature ‘Booze & Ball Games’ mantra, where guests can experience activities including American pool, basketball, ping pong, shuffleboard and more.

Also on offer is two karaoke rooms, a pool course, two duck pin bowling lanes and beer pong throughout.

The food menu features hand-rolled Italian pizzas, Roxy Dogs made with bratwurst sausages and brioche buns, and an array of cocktails that can be enjoyed whilst gaming.

Roxy’s original Digbeth site will be transformed into Roxy Lanes, in an effort to to mark the shift in focus from ball games to bowling.

Roxy Leisure’s commercial manager, Joel Mitchell, said: “Roxy Ball Room Victoria Square is finally open, and we can’t wait for the people of Birmingham to check out the new experiences we have to offer”.

Founded by Matthew Jones and Ben Jones, Roxy Leisure opened their first Roxy Ball Room site on Boar Lane, Leeds back in 2013.

One year later, they opened their second site and first bowling lane concept, Roxy Lanes, in Leeds. Since then, Roxy Leisure has grown to 14 sites in cities around the UK.
