Two new office lettings have been secured in Birmingham City Centre, to four companies newly acquired by RSK Group.

The environmental and engineering firm will relocate 150 people working for Fellows, CS2, EiB and Binnies to Lancaster House on Newhall Street. The firm has taken 4,477 sq ft of refurbished space on the fourth and fifth floors.

In addition, Copeland Wedge Associates, an existing tenant in the building and a subsidiary of RSK, has signed a new reversionary lease on their third-floor offices totalling 3,292 sq ft to commence from their current lease expiry in 2025.

Property agency KWB completed behalf of Lancaster House landlord Custodian Property Income REIT.

Gary Parkinson, group property and assets director at RSK, added: “As a global leader in the delivery of sustainable solutions, it’s essential we find the right office space for our staff.

“Lancaster House offers a high-profile base in an ideal location close to clients and just minutes from the city centre core, bus stops and rail and Metro connections. The available space has allowed us to co locate these new businesses, bringing us further efficiencies.”

Nigel Tripp, director of KWB Office Agency, said: “Lancaster House offers high-quality office space in a prominent city centre location, providing an excellent opportunity to be at the heart of Birmingham’s business community”.

Lancaster House is a 40,000 sq ft Portland Stone office building located at the junction of Newhall Street and Great Charles Street.

The refurbishment of Lancaster house included new carpeting, shower facilities, comfort cooling and heating and LED lighting.

Other occupiers in the building include Blackhams Solicitors, Realty Law, Bell Cornwall Recruitment and Quantem Consulting.
