VIDEO: Harbour urges uptake of low-carb tech

AUTOMOTIVE component manufacturers need to adopt new low carbon vehicle technology if they are to emerge more quickly from recession.

West Midlands MEP Malcolm Harbour, chairing a major European automotive summit in Birmingham, said if firms were prepared to be flexible and embrace the new technology then the European Commission would do all it could to help them.
