Success served up as profits rise at Churchill China

Stoke ceramics manufacturer Churchill China has reported a successful 2022, with revenue and profit rising substantially.

Profit before tax shot up by 61% to £9.6m on the back of revenue rising by 36% to £82.5m.

Churchill China reported “good” demand from distributors and end users, and said that 2023 has started well, with first quarter targets met.

Alan McWalter, chairman of Churchill China, said: “Churchill is a resilient, adaptable business that benefits from a clear focus on delivering outstanding performance products, value and service to its customers and prospers as a result. We have a clear strategy and a long term approach to business which underpins our confidence in our future prospects.”
