Midlands contractors in updated £8bn framework deal

The Procure Partnerships Framework has selected 87 contractors for its updated national framework.

The framework is divided into nine smaller regions and five cost categories, ranging from £50,000 to over £50 million.

This revised framework includes construction as well as three additional areas: decarbonization and renovation, demolition and site preparation, and infrastructure.

The newly revised framework encompasses numerous Midlands-based companies, including Burmor Construction, Seddon, Bowmer & Kirkland, GF Tomlinson, NG Bailey, Inivos trading as Health Spaces, Integral UK and Key Construction (Midlands).

Additional Midlands enterprises within the framework consist of Wates Construction, TClarke Contracting, Stepnell, Speller Metcalfe Malvern, BAM contractors, Winvic Construction, Danaher & Walsh, AR Demolition, Cawarden Co, and DSM Demolition.

Around 65% of the contractors in the categories with values up to £15m are small to medium-sized businesses.

These newly-selected companies will be engaged in procuring projects starting from November 1st and continuing until 2027.

Robbie Blackhurst, framework director said: “With over £1bn projects delivered across the UK year on year, our national presence – as well as our extensive experience in both procurement and technical project delivery – means we can always move quickly to meet the needs of our clients.

“We have expanded our portfolio to cater to the growing needs of the industry while ensuring clients have access to the right contractors for their projects, whether that be regional small to medium-sized enterprises, or larger national delivery contractors.”
