Wasps owner becomes majority shareholder in Worcester Warriors

Wasps owner Chris Holland has become the majority shareholder in Worcester Warriors.

According to Companies House, Loxwood Holdings Ltd were made the ‘person with significant control’.

Holland is the director of Loxwood Holdings Ltd and also the director at Wasps Holdings Ltd.

The BBC is reporting that Holland now owns a 97% share of Atlas Worcester Warriors.

Atlas completed the purchase of WRFC Trading Ltd on May 2 but administrators Begbies Traynor confirmed last month that there is still £1m left to pay, and an October 9 deadline was set.

A notice of ‘ceasing to be the person in control’ was also filed today by Atlas Sportstech Holdings Ltd.
