Specialist glazing firm wins competitive bidding for Birmingham warehouse

Demand for quality warehousing in Birmingham continues to be strong with competitive bidding required to single out a purchaser for a property in Manchester Street.

The 5,412 sq ft property with an eaves height of 20 ft rising to 30 ft, was on the market for offers over £465,000.

It has been purchased by A&C Contracts, a specialist glazing installer in the commercial sector.

Director Mat Fenlon said: “We are seeing a high demand for structural glazing replacements. These new premises provide us extra capacity to service our clients nationwide.

“This warehouse on Manchester Street, that Ryan Lynch at Siddall Jones introduced us to, will be the new location of our UK central hub.

The firm said it is experiencing a huge increase in demand for its services and is currently looking to recruit more structural glass engineers and installers to add to the 15-strong team.

Ryan Lynch, a director at Siddall Jones, said: “‘The sale demonstrates the demand for quality warehousing stock in the Birmingham area.

“We are pleased to have achieved a strong price for our client following a competitive bidding scenario.”
