Frasers Group submits plans for huge new HQ in Warwickshire

How the vast site could look

Frasers Group has submitted a planning application for a global headquarters campus at Ansty in Rugby, Warwickshire.

If approved, the campus is expected to create 7,500 jobs and create £300m in GVA for the region.

Frasers Group includes Sports Direct, FLANNELS, Frasers, USC, and Everlast. Its current headquarters are in Shirebrook, Derbyshire

Designed by architects Grimshaw – the firm behind the Eden Project, London’s Excel Phase II, and the Lloyds Banking Group headquarters – the campus would include logistics space, offices, R&D retail, a hotel and leisure facilities.

A gym and bookable courts and pitches are also planned and would be open to the public.

A spokesperson for Frasers Group said: “We have worked closely with local partners to develop proposals for a global headquarters campus at Ansty. This would deliver a well-located, world-class platform to further bolster our elevation strategy, sector-leading ecosystem and growth ambitions. A planning application has now been submitted and we will continue to work with our partners through the planning process.”
