Fencing contractor acquires car park barrier systems firm
Littlewood Group has acquired Berry Systems, a provider of car park barrier systems.
Headquartered in East Sussex, with an annual turnover of £38m, the Group has a history of contributing to infrastructure projects across the UK and Europe, specialising in high-security fencing, acoustic, and vehicle safety barriers.
While Berry Systems was established in 1971 and based in Wolverhampton, it has collaborated with Littlewood Group for over 15 years, contributing to integrated solutions across various markets.
Despite the acquisition, Berry Systems will maintain its name, workforce, and office in Wolverhampton.
Jon Hobden, managing director of Littlewood Group, says “We are delighted to announce the acquisition of Berry Systems by the Littlewood Group. We look forward to working with the Berry Systems team and the expanded product portfolio this delivers. It will provide us with the opportunity to drive further growth for the Littlewood Group. More widely, we see this as a great opportunity to extend our position as a market leader within the security and barrier fencing industry.”
