A Rowley Regis engineering firm has entered administration, resulting in 45 staff losing their jobs.

Cube Precision Engineering supplied the automotive and aerospace sectors and faced difficult trading conditions in recent months. At the end of 2022, Cube owed £2.9m to creditors.

The firm’s directors explored options to sell the company and its assets, but no offers were forthcoming.

Administrators Jon Roden, Rob Parker and Helen Dale of Grant Thornton were appointed at the end of November and the company ceased trading. The business is now winding down.
