Tile retailer rescue deal expanded with addition of another store

Following the business update shared on January 24th regarding the acquisition of nine Tile Choice stores by Tile Giant, the firm has now announced the addition of another Tile Choice store to its portfolio.

As of January 29th, Tile Choice Telford is open and operational.

When the firm ceased trading it impacted more than 100 jobs and 19 sites including a 30,000 sq ft warehouse and distribution centre stocked with more than £5m of tiles across the East and West Midlands.

With this addition, the total number of Tile Choice stores, now including locations in Coventry, Derby, Bilston, Walsall, Birmingham, Cannock, Burton on Trent, Kidderminster, Worcester, and Telford, stands at ten, all serving both retail and trade customers.

Additionally, both the tilechoice.co.uk and crowntiles.co.uk websites are active and serving customers.

The acquisition of these ten Tile Choice stores has saved 50 jobs across the Tile Choice estate and warehouse.
