Former supermarket to be transformed into retail park
Property investment and development company, Goold Estates, has completed the acquisition of a Midcounties Co-operative store in the centre of Stourport.
The firm has acquired a 29,000 sq ft retail space along with an adjacent parking lot situated on a 2.1-acre plot at the intersection of Tan Lane and Lombard Street.
Goold Estates intends to rebrand the property as Tannery Retail Park after the current Co-op store shuts down later this year.
The property will be offered for lease either in its entirety or as a mixed-use retail and entertainment complex, featuring up to five units ranging from 1,300 to 29,000 sq ft in size.
