More than 400 jobs are being created by luxury car manufacturer Aston Martin, to support its next generation of sports cars.

The launch of the new Vantage and DB12 and the continued demand of the DBX707 means Aston Martin will increase its advanced manufacturing workforce at Gaydon, Warwickshire and the DBX707 manufacturing facility in St Athan, South Wales.

Agency roles will be made available with 250 jobs set for Aston Martin’s Gaydon headquarters and 150 in St Athan, where 700 technicians already work on the DBX707.

Simon Smith, Chief People Officer of Aston Martin said: “We are delighted to be able to increase our manufacturing team across both our facilities in Gaydon and St Athan, creating further employment opportunities for our local communities.

“These 400 agency roles, supporting our production plans and introduction of thrilling new products, are a fantastic opportunity for new team members to join us and play their own part in our iconic brand’s next chapter.”
