Major Dutch airport manager agrees deal with autonomous vehicle developer

David Keen, Aurrigo CEO

Coventry-based Aurrigo has signed a partnership agreement with Aviation Solutions B.V., to support the roll-out of its autonomous solutions to the global aviation sector.

It will work with Aviation Solutions, a department within Royal Schiphol Group, on its Auto-DollyTug® baggage vehicle and Auto-Sim® software at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in a bid to engage with other airports and stakeholders.

Royal Schiphol Group is the owner and operator of Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Rotterdam The Hague Airport and Lelystad Airport, and holds a majority stake in Eindhoven Airport. Its portfolio also includes stakes in Brisbane Airport, Hobart International and JFK Terminal 4, as well as agreements with Beijing Airport and Seoul Incheon Airport.

The move builds on partnerships currently in place with British Airways parent company International Airlines Group and Changi Airport Group.
