Acquisitive accountancy adds another firm to growing portfolio

Accounting and financial advisory firm BK Plus has acquired an Aldridge insolvency boutique, K J Watkin & Co.

First established 34 years ago and led by Chris Moore, K J Watkin & Co joins BK Plus’ 300 plus staff and portfolio of now 16 offices.

Walsall-headquartered BK Plus was created by David Baldwin and Shaun Knight in early 2021 and was backed by Palatine Private Equity last September. The deal continues an acquisitive spree for the firm that has seen it expand into Cornwall after it agreed a deal to buy Atkins Ferrie.

BK Plus has also recently entered the South West when it Cheltenham firm Andorran.
