Warwickshire County Cricket Club and Edgbaston have forged a new commercial partnership with The Priory Hospital, a branch of Circle Health Group in Birmingham, for Bears players to benefit from new clinical support.

Located on Priory Road in Edgbaston, the hospital has signed a three-year agreement to serve as the Official Private Hospital Partner for Warwickshire County Cricket Club and Edgbaston.

Under this arrangement, Warwickshire’s medical and physiotherapy team will gain access to state-of-the-art technology, including MRI scans, X-rays, CT scans, and ultrasound scans.

They will also benefit from consultancy support provided by healthcare specialists.

Silvie Adams, executive director of the Priory Hospital, said: “We are looking forward to supporting Warwickshire County Cricket Club on and off the field as their Official Private Hospital Partner.

“Having fast access to state-of-the-art imaging and diagnostic services is essential to ensuring players can continue competing at the highest level of the domestic game. On behalf of colleagues and Consultants at the hospital, we wish the Bears the very best of luck for the season ahead.”

Ben Seifas, head of partnerships at Edgbaston, said: “I’m delighted the Priory Hospital has joined the Bears family as our exclusive Private Hospital Partner. The Priory Hospital is on our doorstep in Edgbaston, so it’s a natural local partnership, and the specialist support and technology they can offer our players is second to none. Warwickshire Members, Bears fans and our staff will also benefit from a range of special healthcare offers through the Club’s My Edgbaston portal.”
