Construction firm secures contract to revitalise Bromsgrove town centre

Construction firm, Kier has secured the contract to revitalise Bromsgrove town centre in Worcestershire by creating a new commercial and cultural hub spanning 50,000 sq ft on the former market hall site.

The regeneration initiative includes constructing a pavilion structure for exhibitions, markets, and community activities, alongside a larger four-story building for office spaces.

Additionally, the plan includes a ground-floor restaurant and a rooftop food and beverage venue, as well as landscaping improvements throughout the area.

Designed by ONE Creative Environment and overseen by Arcadis, a portion of the funding for the project comes from the government levelling up funds.

With full planning approval already obtained, construction is slated to commence this summer.
