Work has begun on the second phase of Stadium Point Business Park, next to Croud Stadium on Oteley Road in Shrewsbury.

The second phase will introduce medium-sized industrial distribution warehouses to meet business demands in the region.

Expected to be completed by November 2024, this phase will add 20,000 sq ft of industrial space and includes the first of four office buildings and one retail unit within Zone 1, developed by Morris Property.

The entire development will span 28 acres and include 33 units ranging from 1,850 to 175,000 sq ft.

Construction started in January 2024 and is on schedule.

Steve Flavell, Construction Manager at Morris Property said: “We are excited to start Phase 2 of Stadium Point, being our biggest development for the company to date. We’re proud to report that progress is not only on time but also on budget, reflecting our commitment to delivering excellence in every aspect of our work.”

Toby Shaw, partner and commercial agent at Towler Shaw Roberts, said: “Stadium Point is attracting considerable interest solidifying its position as a hub for thriving businesses. Phase 2 represents a significant expansion, offering diverse opportunities for industrial and commercial ventures.”
