Telford industrial unit let to technology manufacturer

Commercial agents at Harris Lamb have leased a Telford industrial unit to a technology design and manufacturing specialist.

The 25,976 sq ft building on the Stafford Park Industrial Estate has been leased to VA Technology, a provider of advanced systems and equipment for the investment casting industry. The firm specialises in the design, manufacture, installation, and servicing of its products.

Harris Lamb was instructed to manage the lease by the existing leaseholders, Preston Innovations.

Matthew Tilt from Harris Lamb’s Telford office, said: “We were approached by Preston Innovations, suppliers of premium fishing equipment, to advise on their exit options at Grant House on Stafford Park 12, which had become surplus to their operational requirements.

“Comprising of a warehouse with 5.9 clear internal haunch height, ground level loading doors, and two-storey offices, the property was well-placed to generate a lot of interest from potential new occupiers keen to capitalise on its specification and its key location – sited less than a mile from Junctions 4 and 5 of the M54, the property provides easy access to the wider motorway network.

“With our client’s lease expiring in June 2027, we were instructed to settle an outstanding rent review with the Landlord and then identify a new Tenant to take the building for the remainder of the lease term. We were aware of VA Technology’s requirement for space and are pleased to have successfully concluded an assignment that satisfies both parties’ objectives.”
