Financial firm completes total takeover of counterpart

MPA Financial Management has completed the total acquisition of Worcester-based Suckling Waddington and Partners (SWP), after initially purchasing a 50% share in 2018.

SWP has served as an Appointed Representative of MPA since 2018, when MPA acquired a 50% share following the retirement of SWP partner Alan Poole.

The acquisition process has now been finalised with outgoing SWP partner Gary Cowley retiring and selling his remaining 50% stake to MPA.

MPA Financial Management is a wealth management firm overseeing investments exceeding £800m. Based in Henley-in-Arden, Warwickshire, MPA employs a team of over 30 employees.

With over 50 years of providing wealth management services in Worcester, SWP will continue to operate in the city, serving its multi-generational client base.
