The three partners are Emma Johnston (Financial Advisory), Adam Kirkpatrick (Tax & Legal) and Jonathan Beeston (Tax & Legal), taking the total number of partners in the Midlands to 64.

The three new partners have collectively been with the firm for over 35 years, with both Johnston and Beeston rising through the ranks after joining straight from university.

Deloitte Midlands director appointments include Andrew Pocock (Audit & Assurance), Benjamin Clark (Consulting) and Laura Neads (Financial Advisory) alongside Misha Nepogodiev, Ian Fyffe, Darren Timmis, Lauren Ingram and Eric Gilvray (all Tax & Legal).

Juliet Halfhead, practice senior partner at Deloitte Midlands, said: “I am a firm believer in nurturing talent from within and this year’s promotions are testament to the hard work and dedication each have shown throughout the past 12 months.

“To make partner and director is a huge milestone and I am particularly proud that all our partners this year have progressed their career within Deloitte. Both Emma and Jonathan joined as graduates with Adam also joining very early on in his career, and they have all taken full advantage of the opportunities open to them. The perseverance and commitment our people have shown over the past year has been remarkable and I am delighted to announce that over 230 of our people received a promotion, across all areas of our business.

“Investing, attracting and retaining talent is essential for the continued growth of the business and our regional economy. This year we have recruited and will be supporting over 100 people across our graduate and BrightStart apprenticeship programmes, alongside industry placements to provide future generations with the skills needed for a successful career.”
