Marketing agency grows client porfolio and team

Stoke-based B2B specialist Lesniak Swann has shown growth so far this year despite facing challenging conditions in the marketing agency sector.
The agency, which moved to larger office space at the former Spode site in Stoke-on-Trent last year, has expanded both its client portfolio and team.
It has hired seven new employees this year and has also expanded its client portfolio, which includes clients such as Etex Group’s Promat brand, façade systems experts Alsecco (part of the EUR1.3bn DAW group) and building products manufacturer Genuit.
Managing director Alex Swann said: “It’s a tough time for agencies at the moment, but our approach to offering a specialised service to industrial clients in sectors like construction, engineering and hi-tech manufacturing is paying dividends. We practice what we preach in terms of actively marketing ourselves in the same way we advise our clients – something that not many agencies do well.
“But the underlying reason for our growth in recent years has been the talented people we’ve brought on board. We’re an appealing proposition both for experienced marketers and creatives looking for a better work-life balance outside of the big cities, as well as for those looking to start their careers. Initiatives such as the annual summer internship with VCCP and iCreation have been a great way of helping to show young people in and around Stoke just what they could achieve in the agency sector.”
