Caravan and motorhomes firm signals for administrators

A Midlands specialist for caravans, motorhomes and campervans posted an NOI to appoint administrators on Tuesday afternoon (July 9), casting doubt over the future of the firm.

Broad Lane Leisure, headquartered in Warwickshire, has been a family business operating in the Midlands for over 50 years.

Its latest accounts show the firm employs 63 people.

The 2023 report indicates that the company ended 2022 with more caravans in stock than desired, attributing this to the “Covid bounce.” It stated that the recovery from the pandemic continued to present challenges, particularly in the supply chain.

These issues have impacted manufacturers of leisure vehicles, affecting the expected delivery dates of stock and retail units.
