Residents and businesses invited to contribute to Solihull town masterplan

Residents and businesses in Solihull are being invited to contribute to the future of Mell Square.

Muse, in collaboration with Solihull Council, has launched an early insights survey on Mell Square’s website to gather input on the planned redevelopment.

Mell Square, in Solihull town centre, has been identified by the Council as a key opportunity area within it’s Town Centre Masterplan.

The Masterplan seeks to reinvigorate the area, whilst creating smaller and bespoke new public spaces, leisure facilities and homes – as part of a mixed-use community.

The survey aims to collect opinions on guiding principles and priorities for future uses and features.

Maggie Grogan, managing director for Muse in the Midlands, said: “In partnership with Solihull Council, the proposals we are bringing forward for Mell Square will reinvigorate it as destination for living, visiting and working. Involving the community is critical to our approach to ensure that we reflect the future needs of Solihull’s residents and businesses. This short survey only takes two minutes and will really help shape the future of one of Solihull’s prominent town centre areas.”
