Birmingham’s historic industrial site transformed into new development

The transformation of one of Birmingham’s historic industrial sites into a new development is now complete.
Gunsmith House in the city’s Gun Quarter is ready for viewing, with just 15 of the 85 apartments still available.
Developed by local firm Elevate Property Group, the project includes three apartments housed in the original Gunsmith House building, which includes a ground-floor one-bedroom apartment with a terrace, a two-bedroom apartment on the second floor, and a unique two-bedroom duplex with a mezzanine and vaulted ceilings, both of which feature balconies.
In addition, the development offers 82 brand-new one- and two-bedroom apartments arranged around a communal landscaped courtyard.
Gunsmith House is now open for viewing, with only 15 out of 85 apartments remaining.
Milly Shaw, associate in the residential development sales team at Savills Birmingham who are handling sales at the scheme on behalf of Elevate Property Group, comments: “It is no surprise that almost 85% of the apartments at Gunsmith House were sold to purchasers off-plan. It truly is a must-see scheme, with each apartment beautifully reflecting the distinct industrial charm rooted in the rich heritage of the Gun Quarter.
“In today’s era, Gunsmith House offers unparalleled convenience, with Aston University, the Central Business District, Bullring Shopping Centre, Selfridges, Birmingham New Street, and Snow Hill railway stations all within close proximity, providing access to the very best that Birmingham has to offer, right on the doorstep. As such, it is to be expected that the majority of sales agreed so far have been to first time buyers and young professionals, who want the convenience of being close to the city and transport links.
“With the scheme now complete and ready to move into, we expect the remaining 15 apartments to be snapped up quickly and would urge those interested to come and have a look for themselves at the earliest opportunity to see just what a fantastic, high-quality scheme that is rich in history Gunsmith House really is.”
