Metal fabricator firm collapses into administration
Administrators have been appointed to a Walsall-based metal fabrication firm, marking the end of over 25 years of operations.
Grant Thornton has been appointed as administrators for G J F Fabrications, a company specialising in the design and manufacture of steel hooklift containers, compactors, and skips for major national waste and recycling companies.
Records show that the firm had an average of 60 employees in 2023.
The company’s accounts from March 2023 also reveal that turnover fell from £8.5m to £7.7m.
The administrators have been contacted for a comment.
