ThinCats finds new home in Birmingham with bigger HQ

ThinCats, an alternative finance provider, has moved its headquarters from Ashby to larger offices at Birmingham’s Snow Hill.

The new space will house more than 20 staff across departments such as finance, operations, marketing, and business development.

It follows ThinCats’ recent announcement to invest £100m in mid-sized businesses across the Midlands, focusing on companies with an EBITDA of over £1m.

Birmingham-based firms Fuelsoft and Compass CHC have already received funding as part of this initiative.

ThinCats reported a record £378m in funding for SMEs across the UK during the financial year ending in June 2024.

Amany Attia, chief executive officer, said: “We are pleased to relocate our head office to Birmingham and cement our commitment to the region through a dedicated £100m fund to meet the considerable demand from local businesses and their advisers to fund growth.”
