New electrical training centre opens in Birmingham

NICEIC, a certification and training body for the electrical industry, has announced the opening of a new training location in Birmingham.
The courses will be available at JTL Training Centre in Birmingham, starting with the Level 3 Award in Initial and Periodic Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations (2391-52), beginning on 18th November, followed by the Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671:2018 (2382-22), starting on 27th November.
With Birmingham now added to the list, NICEIC offers training in 16 locations across the UK.
The training programs provide participants with professionally accredited continuing professional development (CPD), ensuring electrical businesses remain compliant with the latest industry standards.
Each course is designed and delivered by industry experts, equipping attendees with the essential knowledge and best practices needed for their roles.
Neil Vincent, NICEIC head of business development, said: “This expansion of our training network reflects NICEIC's dedication to equipping and upskilling tradespeople across the UK. By bringing high-quality training closer to them, we’re removing geographical barriers and ensuring individuals in Birmingham have the convenient access needed to stay up to date with the latest regulations and requirements.
“This benefits both tradespeople, who can enhance their skill set and career prospects, as well as NICEIC-certified businesses, who can maintain a highly competent and compliant workforce.”
