US tech firm’s new Birmingham office transformed with full fit-out

A global US tech firm has completed a full fit-out of its new Birmingham office at Quinton Business Park, with work carried out by design and construction company, TASK.

Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, Park Place Technologies (PPT) also has offices in London and Birmingham.

Previously based at Melchett Road in Birmingham, the firm has recently invested in the new premises at Quinton Business Park, which required a complete internal fit-out before making the move.

Following a tender process, TASK was appointed in June 2024 to manage the end-to-end CAT B design and fit-out.

The scope included the installation of cellular offices, a breakout room, a kitchen, a pool room, and M&E upgrades, with the entire project delivered remotely in partnership with PPT’s US team.

PPT’s manager of real estate and workplace services, Emily Stack, said, “Part of our value proposition is to ensure we remain an attractive employer, with premises that inspire the very best outcomes for our clients. We wanted our new Birmingham location to boast cutting-edge design and all of the amenities a modern-day office space should have. The result exceeds expectations.

“Partnering with TASK was one of the most enjoyable and rewarding experiences we could have wished for. The entire project was managed and delivered remotely, and the first time we saw the result was on handover day. We were updated throughout the fit-out with regular video calls, photos and video walkthroughs and better still, the project was completed and handed over ahead of schedule. We’re incredibly excited to open our doors to both our team and our clients and showcase this brand new, contemporary workspace.”
