Logistics firm and British Athletics sprint ahead with renewed partnership

A logistics and event management firm has renewed its long-standing partnership with British Athletics after 25 years of collaboration.

CSE, based in Birmingham, works with UK and international sporting governing bodies, providing logistical support for major events worldwide.

Over the years, the firm has built a reputation for delivering large-scale sporting events, including the 2017 World Athletics Championships, the 2018 European Championships and the 2023 World Cycling Championships.

The renewed partnership will see the firm continue to provide logistical support for British Athletics events, including the annual UK Athletics Championships.

British Athletics, the consumer brand of UK Athletics, oversees athletics events, athlete development, and officials in the UK.

The firm has supported the organisation since 1999, managing accommodation and transport for athletes, event staff, VIPs and other attendees.

Simon Hainsworth, MD of CSE, said, “The logistics of accommodating and transporting athletes can be extremely complex, particularly when you consider budget responsibilities, room availability, and shifting requirements. In working closely with British Athletics over the last 25 years, we have worked hard to deliver tailored logistics solutions for each event, avoiding unnecessary challenges while supporting the welfare of all athletes and key personnel.

“We are delighted to extend our long-term working relationship with the Governing body. We feel this serves as a true testament to the quality of the service and support we have delivered. Here’s to the next 25 years.”
