Over a quarter of the 438 homes at the £106m Belgrave Village scheme in central Birmingham were handed over to customers this November.

The 12-acre regeneration project, which has been derelict for 20 years, is being developed by Wavensmere Homes in partnership with Galliard Homes and Apsley House Capital.

90% of the 438 homes have been sold, with £25m worth of completions finalised this month, which has allowed buyers of 117 newly completed houses and apartments to move into the homes they reserved off-plan.

To date, 235 homes are occupied, with the remaining 203 set for completion by spring 2025.

A three-bedroom show house, two-bedroom apartment, and landscaped communal gardens unveiled earlier this year, are open for viewing six days a week.

Starting at £79,500 through shared ownership with Home Reach, the homes are designed to be both affordable and luxurious. They feature eco-friendly air-source heat pumps and three-metre-high ceilings.

Belgrave Village offers several amenities, including an on-site gym, co-working space, screening room, and concierge service.

With gas-free construction and high EPC ratings, buyers also benefit from access to Green Mortgage rates.

The site was previously home to Joseph Chamberlain Sixth Form College and Birmingham Sports Centre.
