Ticketmaster Sport relocates to new Stoke office
A 60-strong team from Ticketmaster Sport has relocated to a new office in Stoke.
Previously based on Campbell Road, Ticketmaster Sport has now taken two private suites, totaling 1,045 sq ft. at Smithfield Works. The new managed workspace will accommodate 23 desks, with staff working in a flexible rotation.
Ticketmaster Sport, founded in the late 1970s, has remained rooted in Stoke-on-Trent ever since. It joins businesses such as Barclays alongside creative organisations such as Stoke Creates and Centre Space Arts
Adam Newsam, Chairman at Ticketmaster Sport said: “The team and I are excited to be moving into our new, state-of-the-art home at Genr8’s Smithfield Works. When looking for a new space, we were seeking somewhere modern, centrally located and flexible, and Smithfield Works ticked all of those boxes. We were also drawn to the space by the sense of community in the building and the opportunity to be part of a growing group of businesses in Hanley town centre.”
Adele Simmons, community manager at Smithfield Works said: “We’re excited to welcome Ticketmaster Sport to the Smithfield Works community. It’s inspiring to see businesses of all sizes choosing this space as their home. The mix of established businesses and growing local enterprises brings a great energy that strengthens the sense of community across our two buildings.”
Smithfield Works has been delivered by Genr8 Developments in partnership with Stoke-on-Trent City Council and the Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP).
Richard Ingham, Partner at Genr8 Developments, added: “Smithfield Works provides the perfect environment for established organisations such as Ticketmaster and Barclays to base their operations, as well as the ideal location for emerging local enterprises to flourish and grow.
“Smithfield Works is now firmly established as the prime managed workspace offering in the city centre and is a further demonstration of Genr8’s appetite to invest and take a long-term stake in the regeneration schemes that we deliver.”
