Leeds Building Society opens Solihull branch
Leeds Building Society has opened a new branch in Solihull, continuing its investment in both physical and digital services.
The opening included goody bags, hot chocolates, and even a visit from Santa, celebrating the new Mill Lane branch – the Society’s 51st location.
To mark the launch, the society introduced an exclusive savings account, the Solihull Saver, offering 4.50% interest, available only to branch visitors.
With a £100 minimum deposit, the account has a maturity date of 2nd February 2026 and allows withdrawals.
Richard Fearon, CEO of Leeds Building Society, said: “I am delighted to open our new high street branch in Solihull and expand our national branch network to allow us to reach more people. We have listened to our members and know how much they cherish our branches, so I am thrilled to confirm we are bucking the market trend by investing in our in-person service.
“The customer service provided in our branches remains the jewel in our crown, with customer satisfaction levels of 98%. We are extremely grateful for the support and dedication of our brilliant branch colleagues, who each play an important role within the local community in helping our members.”
Branch manager, Joanna Brereton, said: “Work has been going on behind the scenes for months as we have prepared to open our new premises. We are so excited that the branch is now open, and we can’t wait to welcome new members from Solihull and the surrounding areas.”
