Boutique advisory launches new office with senior hire

Cortus Advisory is set to open a new Birmingham office, after appointing Rachael Ellis to lead the office.

The new Birmingham office in The Colmore Building will be the fifth Cortus location to join sites in Preston, Manchester, Leeds, and Nottingham.

Rachael Ellis joins as a partner in the boutique advisory’s transaction services team and will launch the site.

Ellis brings more than 15 years of experience, starting her career at EY before spending 10 years in the PwC Midlands team. Ellis has advised owner-managers, corporates and investors on strategic transactions across a broad range of industry sectors.

This year Cortus expanded its team to more than 35 professionals, after completing almost 50 transactions and 10 advisory projects.
