Bathroom manufacturer splashes out in multimillion-pound warehouse deal

A multi-million-pound deal has seen a bathroom manufacturer acquire seven adjoining industrial warehouses, along with a standalone office block in Brierley Hill.

The property spans more than 70,000 sq ft and has been acquired by Alfred Victoria, a family-run group that specialises in importing and manufacturing bathroom and sanitaryware products.

Located on a three-acre site the property sits next to the Merry Hill Shopping Centre in Dudley and consists of large open-plan units with cranes and high eaves.

The sale was facilitated by Mark Darlaston, director of DBSUK Property Group Ltd in Birmingham and was supported by legal services from Nick Phillips of FieldFisher Solicitors Ltd.

Darlaston said: “The sale was carried out despite stiff competition from other potential purchasers, showing that demand for quality industrial properties like this, in good locations with great connections to the road and rail networks, are in high demand despite the wider economic outlook.”
