Proposal lodged to deliver £18m residential scheme in Coventry

Avant Homes has submitted plans to deliver a £18.8m development in Allesley, Coventry.

The 60-home scheme, which will be called Allesley Heights, is located off Birmingham Road and will comprise a mix of one-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom homes.

If approved by Coventry City Council, work will begin in May, with the first residents expected to move into their homes in spring 2026.

Martin Smith, Avant Homes West Midlands managing director said: “The site in Allesley represents an exciting opportunity for us to grow our development footprint across the West Midlands.

“As a housebuilder, we are committed to providing quality new homes for everyone in places where people want to live. Our plans will allow us to deliver our practically designed, energy-efficient homes in the highly popular residential location.

“We now look forward to Coventry City Council considering our plans to deliver a new and thriving community for the local area.”

Coleshill-based Avant Homes West Midlands currently has live developments ranging from Monkswood, Telford to Pavilion Acres, Walsall.

The company is part of the Avant Homes Group, which operates across the Midlands, north of England and Scotland from eight regional businesses.
