Lighting manufacturer acquires office space as new HQ

A former office space in Stoke-on-Trent has found a new purpose as NLC Group, creators of decorative lighting, homewares and small appliances, snaps it up for its new headquarters.
Whittle Court, made up of units 3-6 at Town Road Business Park in Hanley, totals 7,400 sq ft and was previously home to Brighter Futures, a provider of social housing and supported accommodation.
The sale also included the business park’s common areas and car park. Both have been transferred to MK2 Property Management, marking the complete exit of the previous owner, Sandyford Properties, from the site.
Paul Brindley, managing director of Sandyford Properties, said: “The sale of the site is consistent with Sandyford’s strategy to become a pure multi-let industrial property company. Following the sale, 95% of the rent roll comprises industrial property.”
