Energy supplier powers up Coventry with 150 new jobs

Corona Energy is growing in Coventry, adding 150 new jobs as it expands its office space at the Bourn Building.

Taking over another 15,021 sq ft and securing a 10-year lease, Corona now occupies a total of 21,728 sq ft across two floors.

Bourn has recently undergone a £9m makeover, turning it into a 90,000 sq ft, energy-efficient office building.

Corona Energy is an independent commercial energy supplier with over 25 years of experience providing gas and electricity to businesses of all sizes. The company is headquartered in Watford.

Rob Hemus, director of asset management and sustainability at IM Properties said: “Creating growth opportunities for our occupiers and the communities where our buildings are located is a priority and we welcome the news that Corona is successfully expanding in the city.

“In addition to favourable corporate business hours, Corona can leverage the point of difference our building offers through our desire to connect people and build community at Bourn. Aligned with our Sustainable Futures framework, we offer regular wellness classes and seasonally themed events, to help attract and retain talent. We’ve had fantastic feedback from the people working here since Bourn began to be established and momentum is building.”
