Property group snags former police station for next Birmingham project

Ladywood Police Station

MIA Property Group has acquired the former Ladywood Police Station, adding to its portfolio in Birmingham.

The 0.88-acre site complements the previously purchased Ladywood Social Club, where the company has secured planning permission for a residential development of up to 130 apartments.

With the new acquisition, MIA now controls the 1.4-acre island site and plans to explore mixed-use development options for the site.

MIA Property Group is a property developer based in Birmingham, focused on creating sustainable and community-oriented developments.

Zahir Ahmed, director of MIA Property Group said: “This acquisition is a key part of our commitment to delivering high-quality, well-designed developments that enhance Birmingham’s urban landscape. We look forward to working with key stakeholders to bring this vision to life.”
