Black Country office block hits the market with £1.2m price tag

A five-storey office block in the Black Country has come onto the market with an asking price of £1.2m.

Commercial property agency Bond Wolfe has been instructed to sell the building at 178 Birmingham Road, West Bromwich, formerly the regional headquarters for Green Square Accord Housing Association.

The building offers 14,966 sq ft of floor space and a 47-space car park and features two separate front entrances—one leading to a main reception area and the other directly to the stairwell and passenger lift.

Recent upgrades include a staff kitchen, breakout area, and glass-partitioned offices.

The property presents various opportunities, including full or partial letting, as well as potential alternative uses.

James Mattin, managing director of Bond Wolfe said: “We are delighted to be offering yet another high-profile office sale in the region. This property offers excellent flexibility for either continuation as office use or repurposing for alternative use. The benefit of a substantial rear car park and its proximity to Junction 1 of the M5 motorway only added to the attraction of this opportunity.”
