Flooring distributor to drive growth with expanded fleet

Flooring distributor, Likewise Group is set to expand its delivery fleet to support its growth.

By the end of 2025, the Solihull-based company plans to have 158 vehicles on the road.

The first of these new vehicles, one of 30 trucks on order, was delivered to Likewise’s Glasgow distribution centre this week.

14 more trucks are on order for Valley Wholesale Carpets, one of the group’s subsidiaries, following a delivery of ten trucks last year.

With a range of brands under its belt, including Valley Wholesale Carpets, Lewis Abbott, H&V Carpets, A&A Carpets, William Armes, Factory Flooring, and Delta Carpets, Likewise Group is continuing to strengthen its distribution network to meet demand.

Tony Brewer, chief executive of Likewise Group plc, said: “This substantial investment very much reflects our commitment and confidence in the future growth of the group. Furthermore, it is the group’s future policy to purchase trucks rather than lease to be more cost-effective and further strengthen the balance sheet.”
