Two new apartment buildings have been unveiled at the £112m Belgrave Village development in central Birmingham, adding 264 new homes to the area.

Called Blossom and Bluebell, the buildings offer a total of 264 homes, with Blossom featuring 125 homes across six storeys, and Bluebell rising to 11 storeys with 139 homes.
Belgrave Village is part of a wider regeneration effort to bring new homes to a site that had been derelict for 20 years.
Donna Smith, sales director for Wavensmere Homes said: “With three years of heavy construction work complete, Belgrave Village has taken the mantle of Birmingham’s smartest new residential community. The communal facilities are exceptional, and the development encourages residents to make the most of the wonderful communal spaces and surroundings.”
Over 90% of the overall development’s 438 homes have already been sold, with 250 homes now occupied. The remaining 139 plots will be completed soon.
The development includes family houses and apartments, with a range of amenities such as a gym, co-working space, and a screening room.
It also offers green spaces and is designed with eco-friendly features like energy-efficient appliances and air source heat pumps.
Previously the site of Joseph Chamberlain Sixth Form College and Birmingham Sports Centre, the site had been derelict for 20 years before being transformed into the Belgrave Village.
