Property Appointments: LSH, Stepnell, Talbots

THE Birmingham office of national commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton has appointed Nigel Oliver as a director in its corporate advisory services team.

Mr Oliver joins from DTZ where he was business manager for UK national property management, head of property management and UK head of corporate real estate management over a four-year period.

He joined the plc in 2007 when it acquired Donaldsons where he was an equity partner based in Birmingham.

In his new role, Mr Oliver, from Warwick, will be targeting and delivering multi-disciplinary work for occupiers in the West Midlands with existing clients including Severn Trent and Centro.

Head of LSH in Birmingham Ian Kibble said: “Nigel, with his excellent all round surveying and business management expertise, will be an asset to our team in Birmingham.

“He is used to working with high profile clients, particularly in the corporate occupier sector, and has an impressive track record.”

RUGBY-based construction and civil engineering firm Stepnell has appointed Terry Hill as senior project manager.

In his new role, Mr Hill, who was previously a project manager for Berkeley Homes, will be responsible for managing the development and construction of residential care homes across the UK.

During his career, he has also worked as projects director for Parkridge Developments and as projects manager for Prologis Developments.

He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building and has a degree in civil engineering from the University of Birmingham.

Residential conveyancing solicitor Jonathan Ritson has joined West Midlands law firm Talbots Solicitors.

Formerly senior partner of Hall Pratt & Prichard, Mr Ritson has worked in and around the Black Country for nearly 20 years.

During his time with Hall Pratt & Pritchard, he specialised in residential and commercial conveyancing after his appointment as senior partner in 2006.
